United States - EPPE Cohort 2018-19
Research and Development Intern - Global One

Dakota attended Grinnell College as a Posse Scholar and graduated with a BA in Anthropology. She has been interested in exploring the links between her degree study and the education field to understand how difference informs equity. Dakota previously worked as a Parent Engagement Coordinator in the U.S.’s second largest school district, and more recently as a lead University and Careers Counselor in both China and Mexico respectively. She is collaborating with NGO Global One as a Research and Development Intern, investigating best practices for NGOs and developing innovative training programmes for the UN, supported by the Alliance of NGOs and CSOs for South-South Cooperation initiative. Her particular interests lie in issues related to equity in higher education, international policy transfer, and education's role in sustainable development practices.
